When I grow up

On Wednesday I began living something some like to call the "DC Dream". Its when you get to experience the pure joy and luxury of riding the metro to and from work each day. 7:34 am board metro, change trains, Final destination 8:40 am. Yes, each day I get to commute 2 1/2 hours for work. Love it. I work in Spring Valley DC. When I arrive I walk a 1/2 hour to the families house whom I nanny for. This is honestly one of the most beautiful areas. First begin by thinking of father of the bride, the big white house with square windows running horizontally, shutters, and tree's so over grown that the entire street is covered over. This is where I spend the majority of my days. The streets are filled with old colonial homes with black shutters and red doors. Many different styles but mostly they are similar to this one here. This one is much more simple, but you get the hint. Tree's so big you can't even see the sky when you look up. I have always loved the different architecture of homes, but these ones really get me. I only dream of living in a place like this when I grow up.
